When testing a cord using the Class I test on the PT250, the test will indicate a failed result. The PT250 has a fixed earth continuity pass limit of 0.2 ohm. As it has not got a user defined setting and uses a calculation of (0.1 + R)Ω  it would automatically fail any value over 0.2 ohm’s, and then as continuity is a failure the balance of the test sequence will be considered a failure.
