I have noticed the latest Apollo+ has a Wi-Fi hotspot feature, does this mean it connects to the internet?

No, the Apollo creates a wireless connection over wifi between itself and a mobile device. This is purely used to transfer data to / from the Apollo. Data such as asset information can be downloaded, and retest data uploaded to the Apollo +. This feature is primarily used by those working remotely in the field who are required to transfer test data to / from head office on a regular basis.

The Apollo+ does not require or have the capability to join a WiFi internet connection.
