High performance electrical safety testers that enable electrical and electronic product manufacturers to comply with stringent performance and safety standards will be the main focus of the Seaward stand (D15) at Manufacturing & Engineering North East.
Leading the way will be the advanced HAL 104, which combines the performance of a multi-function production line safety tester with load and power factor measurement for product energy consumption and ratings assessments. This highly versatile all-in-one tester can be connected to a test enclosure to perform the fast, reliable and accurate electrical testing required in modern manufacturing environments.
The Sentinel series of bench-top testers for improved type testing during product development or enhanced compliance testing will also feature on the stand. The range enables R&D facilities, test laboratories and production engineers to check their products to ensure compliance with the relevant international technical conformance standards such as EN 60598, UL 1598, IEC and CSA C22.2 before being sent to third party test/approval houses. This can reduce product time-to-market, saving time and costs in the process.
Completing Seaward’s showing will be the DO5000 high precision microhmmeter. This versatile instrument provides accurate measurement of resistance values for a variety of electrical manufacturing applications – it has programmable current settings in 100 steps from 10µA to 10A and measures from 3mΩ to 30kΩ with a resolution of 0.1µΩ and ±0.03% accuracy.
A data logging function stores up to 4000 readings with date and time stamps, while statistical analysis of these values allows the display of max/min/average values as well as peak to peak and standard deviation.
