SEA GUARD® Marine Fenders
SEA GUARD Marine Fenders are available in Low Reaction, Standard, High Capacity, Extra High Capacity or Super High Capacity.
The Seaward SEA GUARD Marine Fender combines quality assurance standards with new elastomer technologies, making it the answer to most fendering systems.
Available in a wide variety of diameters and lengths, from the 2 ft x 4 ft (0.6 m x 1.2 m) to the tanker-scaled 14 ft x 28 ft (4.3 m x 8.5 m), all Seaward fenders meet the operational performance expectations the industry has grown to depend on.
Its urethane skin is unique in that it is reinforced with nylon, which is wrapped in a helical pattern and integrated within the skin itself. This technique gives the SEA GUARD Marine Fender's skin a tear strength of up to six times greater than non-reinforced skin.
SEA GUARD Marine Fenders are fabricated from closed-cell resilient foam that absorbs significant quantities of energy when compressed. The foam is protected by a thick, filament reinforced elastomer skin. This construction offers a number of important features and advantages:
