A Donut fender is a foam-filled fender which has been designed to be slipped over a stationary monopile. The fender floats at the water line, and can rotate upon contact with a ship. These features make it ideal for turning dolphins, and in applications where large water level changes occur, such as in rivers or tidal estuaries.
