SEACAMEL^® Composite Marine Camel

Floating marine camels are used in many commercial, military and marine facilities. Marine camels provide vessel standoff from a pier face and transfer berthing forces from the vessel into the pier fender piles and structure. The ability of a camel to distribute vessel contact loads across large areas or into multiple fender piles offers a significant benefit in marine operations.

SEACAMEL Composite Marine Camel utilizes Seaward's SEAPILE Composite Marine Piling, recycled plastic piling, which are reinforced with fiberglass rebar.

Typical Single Pile Camel, available in:

13" diameter (330 mm)
16" diameter (400 mm)
24" diameter (610 mm)

With hawse pipe and anchor weight

Camels can also be fabricated by the customer from SEATIMBER Composite Marine Timber, which is shipped in kits. Please call Seaward for more information about this type of camel.
